From a survey carried out, a total of 70 tons Palm husk waste is generated along the Kenya coastal region. For this research work, 384 husk waste samples were collected and sun-dried for six.

Working principle of cocopeat machine. Palm husks are fed into the coir fiber extraction machine from the feeding port, and the wire cutter driven by motor rotates to open the Palm husks. The filamentous materials will be ejected from the discharging port, and the chaff falls from the hole at the bottom of the Palm fibre extraction.

A Palm fiber extracting machine is a kind of equipment that can process empty palm fruit bunch or Palm shell into the long fiber.
