The average mill-gate price received for the Group’s CPO in 2022 was US$854 per tonne, up by 5% on the US$810 per tonne received in 2021. In 2020, approximately 20% of world palm-oil production was certified sustainable. Less than half of this was bought as sustainably-produced oil. M.P. The Project will invest in a limited number of oil palm investment hubs, defined as agro-climatically suitable areas within a radius of approximately 30 km around a crude palm oil (CPO) mill, in which at least 3,000 ha of oil palm production can be assured. Three hubs have been identified: Buvuma Island, Mayuge, Masaka/Rakai. In
